Over all good type. Tummy pattern is very good, back pattern needs a little help and that is because he carries patched. Good temperament, but has improved with age.	Very nice type for his age. Note on temperament rating :...( this is for the breeder's amusement, no technical terms are used here)
His/ (Her) temperament is just perfectly lovely. = The perfect rat. You cannot get a mellower loving rat. Just absolutely stellar. Soaring above the sky, way above average. The best you can get.
Wonderful temperament. = Excellent in every way. Loves everyone. Above average. 2nd best you can get.
Good temperament. = A very good rat. Good pet rat for any age adopter. Average. 3rd best you can get.
Not yet rated...= I am still observing the rat and I don't know. But rats with bad temperaments will not be on my page because I don't work with rats like that here. Temperaments are genetic, so they are what you breed them to be.

At times I may have a few rats that are marked with a "" above the name. I will post pix after they grow a bit so they can finish molting. This way you can see what they will look like as an adult.

*D/C = Dumbo Carrier

My different lines are only bred together with their same line. This is called "line breeding". For example I will only breed my "Dumbo Self Line" females to my "Dumbo Self Line" males. Some rats are used as an "out cross". This means that, this rat is used to compliment a line of rats and bring in new blood, that rat is half of this line and half of another line. So that rat will be bred into my lines and have babies that are related to my lines. This type of line breeding strengthens the animals. It locks in great health, temperament, and excellent confirmation. It makes them stronger in every way. It also allows me to test my lines to make sure there are no weaknesses ie.... tumors bad immune systems poor bone structure and bad body shape. So it allows me to weed out any potential problems. And as a result I am left with nothing but strong healthy beautiful animals. It is rare for me to "inbreed" (brother sister breeding's). However, that is a great way to occasionally "beef up" a line, if need be.

Note on the High White marked line: They can easily be bred to any rat of any other pattern. At times I will breed them to a hooded, Self or a Berkshire. Any pattern breeds well with the marked rats and it's healthy for the line to be out crossed in this manner. So for this line I will not stick to strictly breeding them to only "their own line". I may just pick a mate from any line to do a breeding when dealing with the marked rats.
